- Free of Charge Ratio - 1 teacher/ adult : per 10 student
- Additional adults are charged at the applicable student rate
- Minimum of 20 students is required for the per student rate to be applicable; with a maximum of 30 people per group/ guide, this includes students, teachers, carers and parent helpers.
- Weekend/ Public Holiday bookings incur an additional $1.10 per person

The focus of this program is to highlight three significant Heritage and Built Sites within this precinct.
From The Rocks area an evaluation can also be made of two of Sydney’s structural icons, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
Aspects of The Rocks local history will assist the students to understand the heritage value of this Place today while exploring the restored buildings and streetscapes.

Entertaining stories are expressed through historic events and by interpreting and exploring with the children the heritage built features of The Rocks.
Students are encouraged to analyse and compare the evidence of the lifestyles of yesteryear with their lifestyle today with the assistance of well researched images and significant sites.

Students are guided through The Rocks to observe the heritage qualities of this important place in Sydney’s history. With the aid of images, comparisons are made between past and present times.
Stories from the differing periods of change are shared with the children particularly focusing on events that impacted on the generations of people who contributed to the historic nature of Sydney Cove including the Indigenous, Cadigal people.

Issues covered within the tour are:
- The first contact between the Eora and the British

- Relevant sites in the development of Sydney
