Additional details about the tour

On our Australia as a Nation tour, students explore the key events and ideas that led to Federation in 1901 and examine how democracy and citizenship have developed in Australia over time. Through stories and historic places in The Rocks, they investigate how the Australian colonies moved towards becoming a united nation and the role people and communities played in this process.

Students learn about the many groups who migrated to Australia, why they arrived, and how their contributions helped shape the nation’s economic and social development. The tour also introduces the achievements of significant Australians who influenced the country’s identity and development, helping students understand how Australia evolved into the nation it is today.

I just wanted to extend my thanks for the excellent walking tour organised by your team. Harry was fantastic—engaging, knowledgeable, and great with the students. They thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. I would happily rate all aspects of the experience a 5 out of 5. And if you could guarantee a spectacular sunny winter’s day like Monday’s, it would be the perfect bonus for all your future clients! We look forward to working with you again next year
